Introducing GHM’s Newest Attorney

Poorav K. Rohatgi is joining Gerger Hennessy & Martin as its newest attorney.

Poorav comes to GHM after clerking two years for U.S. District Court Judge Alfred H. Bennett in Houston.  Before his judicial clerkship, he began his legal career at Haynes & Boone LLP, where he represented clients in civil and criminal proceedings before the SEC, DOJ, DOT, and FINRA.  Poorav graduated from Duke University (BA, 2010) and the University of Texas School of Law (JD, 2014). At UT, he served as a staff editor for the American Journal of Criminal Law and was a member of the school’s U.S. Supreme Court Clinic.

Active in his community, Poorav currently sits on the board for the Kenan Institute for Ethics at Duke University and is a past president of the South Asian Bar Association of Houston. Poorav is fluent in Hindi.
