Poorav Rohatgi

Poorav joined Gerger Khalil Hennessy & McFarlane after clerking two years for the U.S. District Court in Houston.  Before his judicial clerkship, he graduated from Duke University and the University of Texas Law School.  Poorav began his career at Haynes & Boone LLP working in criminal and civil litigation and representing clients in proceedings against the SEC, DOJ, DOT, and FINRA.

Poorav is active in the community. Beyond participating in pro bono legal opportunities, he volunteers his time to judge high school competitions for the Houston Urban Debate League and stays engaged with minority bars including the South Asian Bar Association. Poorav is fluent in Hindi.
